Emily Brennan is originally from Chesapeake, VA and began her training at Virginia Ballet Theatre. In high school she trained under Janina Michalski Bove and Suzanne Lownsbury at Ballet Virginia International. After graduating high school, she was accepted into Nashville Ballet's second company, where she performed in company performances as well as community outreaches. Emily joined the Ballet Theatre of Maryland in 2012 as an Apprentice, was promoted to a Demi-Soloist in 2013, and to a Soloist in 2016. Since joining BTM, she has performed in many featured roles including, Antony Tudor's Continuo, the Spanish Princess in Swan Lake, a soloist in Italian Symphonette, one of the Step-Sisters in Cinderella, Spanish in The Nutcracker, the Topaz Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, and Morgan Le Fay in Excalibur. Emily is looking forward to the 2016-2017 season with Ballet Theatre of Maryland!
