Corinne Early is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee. She trained at Studio Arts for Dancers and performed musicals throughout high school. She participated in summer intensives such as Ballet Adriatico with Anna Marie Holmes, Joffrey Midwest, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, and San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. She attended University of Cincinnati as a Cincinnatus Scholarship recipient and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. During her time at UC, she was mentored by Deirdre Carberry, Jiang Qi, Michael Tevlin, and Ka-Ron Brown Lehman. Corinne also choreographed at annual showcases and performed in ballets such as Paquita, La Sylphide, Sleeping Beauty, Serenade, and Myrta in Giselle. Upon graduation, Corinne joined Ballet Theatre of Maryland as an apprentice and was promoted to demi-soloist in 2017 and soloist in 2018. While at BTM she performed roles such as Fall Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a soloist in Italian Symphonette, and as the Dewdrop and Arabian lead in The Nutcracker. She is excited to continue her artistic journey at BTM during the current and upcoming seasons!
