Gloria's Angels Fund

Gloria Babel
was a compassionate spirit whose passion was giving to others. Mother of Laura Babel Snow and Lynda Babel Sandi, Gloria conscientiously volunteered her time and talents as a gifted seamstress for over ten years as the Wardrobe Mistress for Ballet Theatre of Maryland under Founding Artistic Director Eddie Stewart. She was "The Wind Beneath the Wings," the spirit of Volunteerism which leveraged the efforts of early BTM Staff and formed the heart and soul of our early days. Gloria's Angels inhabit our costume room still and it's suiting to dedicate our home costume room to her and the many other costumers who have left their handiwork as part of our repertoire. All donors to the Gloria's Angels Fund will receive a copy of the print below by Laura Higgins Palmer, entitled Gloria's Angels and dedicated to the 40 years of volunteers of BTA/BTM.
